VIRGINIA MEYERS

Owner and Lead Trainer

Hello! I’m Virginia Meyers, owner of Studio VMX. I've spent the better part of my adult life learning all I can about fitness, nutrition and meditation while raising my 4 kids. My journey in the fitness business began as a personal trainer teaching weight training classes and Crossfit. Following some nagging injuries, I deepened my yoga practice and eventually became a 500 hour registered yoga instructor. As I was looking for a more challenging, low impact workout, I discovered the Xformer machine and it was love at first sight! I immediately became a certified instructor and I’ve been teaching for 7 years. I also teach restorative yoga and meditation. With my youngest son off to college, it was the perfect time to open my own studio and share my love of this method with as many people as I can reach.

Studio VMX’s meaningful movement method combines my decades of knowledge from yoga, weight training, breath work and meditation to create a truly full body, mind and soul experience. Come join me for a class! I promise you will leave feeling grounded, strong and sweaty!

VMX Trainer Alexi Silver

ALEXIS SILVER

VMX Trainer

Alexis has been teaching Pilates since 2016. Previously, she was an elementary school teacher in New York City, after which she moved to the suburbs to take some time off and raise her kids.

Alexis has always been passionate about fitness. She quickly became addicted to the Xformer when a friend introduced her to the workout in 2013.
She had found so much joy in teaching and knew she wanted to return to it, but shifted her focus from children to adults. She became certified in the Xformer method, and then additionally, decided to pursue a separate certification in classical Pilates and is now mat and reformer certified. She loves to work in group settings and one-on-one. Her mission is to empower her clients to feel strong and make positive changes to themselves and their bodies.

Alexis promises a kick a** class, which will leave you shaky (in a good way) and wanting more.
